TAFE QUEENSLAND INALA CAMPUS EXPANSION

The Federal Member for Oxley Mr Milton Dick MP is looking forward to attending the official opening of the $3.4 million TAFE Queensland Inala campus expansion alongside the Hon. Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland and Minister for the Arts, Member for Inala and The Hon. Yvette D’Ath MP, Attorney-General, Minister for Justice and Minister for Training and Skills.

Completed in August 2016, the expansion will double the available space for education delivery on the campus who specialise in adult immigrant English training.

"I've always been a strong supporter of TAFE” said Mr Dick. TAFE plays a critical role in providing essential education and training for thousands of people throughout our community.

Locals deserve the best possible start to getting a good job, and I've witnessed the transformational power of TAFE over a long period of time.

These new and expanded facilities will give more people an opportunity to study at the Inala campus and be job ready for the workforce. The campus has provided essential education and training to our local community for over 13 years and I’m proud to show my support for the important service they deliver.

Our local state MP Annastacia Palaszczuk deserves thanks for making sure TAFE in Queensland has been improved and our local campus here in Inala has received such an important boost.

The Federal Government needs to follow the lead of the Palaszczuk Government and invest in TAFE right across the country to ensure that we have a strong vocational education and training system to meet the growing demands of the future.
